Hello, fellow wine and outdoor enthusiasts!
I’m Linda Whipple, a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) through the Society of Wine Educators. I also earned Advanced (Level 3) certification with distinction from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET).
OK, now that I’ve dispensed with the street cred, let’s move onto recent milestones:
- January 2015: Started My Full Wine Glass, a blog dedicated to chronicling my wine journey and expressing my appreciation for wine grapes and all things growing.
- June 2020: Transplanted myself to the Pacific Northwest. That’s right, during the pandemic. Now a confirmed PNWer, I spend most days exploring the natural world and birding. Oh, and tasting and writing about wine, naturally.
- January 2024: Time to rededicate and refocus my attention on how grapes are grown, what’s in your wine, and those winemakers who are passionate about preserving this common ground, the earth, we call home.
So… going forth, I will be sharing wine stories that matter – to you, to me, to all of us.
